Are not so bias Premier League prediction!

To kick off this jam packed weekend, we start with a cracker down at the Etihad Stadium with a game that could go either way, naturally the favourites will be Manchester City as they are favourites in every game they play, and in this game they have the home advantage. However here at Matchweek, sometimes we like to go against the odds so were going to go with a very tight and technical game with it ending 2-2 on the day with either side being capable of nicking it.

Next up we have Sheffield Utd vs Bournemouth, Sheffield are the home side and are in desperate need of a win, Bournemouth currently sit above them by 4 points in the table and are coming off a 2-0 win vs Newcastle and are the team we are backing to win 2-1.

We then have Forest vs Brighton, Forest have only lost one game at home this season but Brighton have been the better team all round this season, but they have started to fall down the table in recent weeks by to continuous draws, at home and on the road. with only 6 points in the table currently splitting them, we think that gap will stay the same other the weekend as we are going to predict a another 2-2 draw.

Luton are set to host crystal palace at home. Luton have shown some resilience in the past few weeks by gaining a point vs Liverpool, however we thing Palace will still be too much for them and pick up a 2-0 victory on the road.

Newcastle are ready to host Chelsea. This is a game that everyone would of put their money on Newcastle to win if this game took place just over a month ago, however in recent results it looks like Chelsea are starting to gain some sort of identity in the way the play under the new manager and have held the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal to a stale mate, they also held Liverpool to a stale mate earlier on in the season, which shows they can hold their own on their home turf, it just depends if they can do this away from home. Newcastle have also had a dip in form by loosing to Bournemouth in their last game before the international break, and also loosing to Dortmund at home in the Champions League. Newcastle will be the favourites but again we going to go against the odds and be brave with a Chelsea 2-0 win.

Brentford then play Arsenal on the half five kick off. Brentford have been a hard team to break down this season, this being the case when they play at their home ground for sure and will be looking to bounce back from the 3-0 beating the got at Anfield just before the break. While Arsenal will be looking to keep putting the pressure on City and Liverpool, however this could be a bit of a Banana skin for the Gunners if they get it wrong and to pump up the excitement were going to go with a Brentford win 2-1.

Moving onto Sunday....

On the Early kick off, Tottenham host villa, a team who are smashing it in the Premier League at this moment in time. That is not to say Tottenham are not either, they have had the start to the season that no one would have expected and currently sit at 4th in the table, however they have had a dip in form recently and a key injury to Maddison, coming off consecutive losses. Villas away form is not as good as the home form and with this being an away game them it is very hit or kiss whether they will show up or not. We are going to back that they do show up and beat Spurs 3-1 on the day.

Manchester Utd then travel to Goodison Park, a ground they always find hard to pick up points at and Everton seem to be in the best form they have been in for the best part of a year, if not longer. Everton have just been deducted ten points, which puts them right back in the danger zone as they are now 19th in the table so this means the fans will be bouncing on Sunday evening to get behind the team to show them the support they need to fight for survival. Manchester Utd are coming of multiple wins themselves against the likes of Brentford and Luton, however they have a history of cracking under pressure so were are going to go bold and go with a 3-0 Everton win for a dramatic end to the weekend.

We then have Monday night football between Fulham and Wolves. Wolves currently sit three points above Fulham in the table and have only lost one in their past five outings, where has Fulham have lost three in their past 5. Fulham have been struggling to find the back of the next this season with their attack having one of the lowest contributions in the league, where as Wolves are coming off a 2-1 win at home to Spurs and have recently drawn 2-2 with Newcastle. Wolves have shown they can pull it out the bag in recent games, and therefor we are going to end this weeks fixture predictions with a 2-1 win for Wolves.
